Beau Bayh to the Rescue

ONE SUPPOSES now that Beau Bayh has drawn on his vast criminal forensic experience to explicate the Minneapolis chaos for us — “Participation in a protest and lawful firearm possession are not justification for the use of deadly force” — there’s not much left to say. 

Before we leave the subject, though, I would like to raise a point made by our friend Stephen Moore of Unleash Prosperity. Moore, possibly anticipating a decision by Gov. Tim Waltz to cooperate with the White House, suggests we move ICE agents to safety away from the organized violence of the Antifa maniacs:

“Instead, stop sending billions of tax dollars to the state until Walz and the rest of the incompetents who have run that city and state into the ground end the rampant fraud and repay the estimated $9 billion of federal tax dollars stolen from American taxpayers with impunity.”

Indeed, I was surprised that young Bayh didn’t think of that himself. It falls within the responsibilities of the job he seeks (Secretary of State) on his way to the governor’s office. He is to ensure that new businesses seeking state charters are not fraudulent enterprises. Do they study Somali business practices at Harvard? — tcl
